The Ocean

For someone who is off work temporarily
I'm a busy freakin kid .....
Makes me wonder how I got it all done working two jobs
Speaking of two jobs, I am not gonna do that anymore
I owe the government of Canada $1200 fuckin dollars because I worked two jobs
Never again!
Granted I did have my money all year but what insentive is it to work hard if you'll owe some back come tax time?
One legit job and some cash jobs on the side that's it!
If your reading this government my second income will be..... cash or nothing
Cash on the dash or home on the couch
You try to work to get ahead, tax time rolls around Boom right back where you started.

Things I have noticed since I been off and had some time around:

Traffic lights are fuckin brutal; Does the city guy who controls them even drive?
People who wear sunglasses in the mall make me laugh.....and there is lots of em
There is people on facebook no matter what time I log on
my neighbourhood has lots of drama
my neighbours to the left are nosey
I have had it with some people, Ask for a favor and they disappear
The man is the man that's it no questions!
I have become a homebody and really enjoy it
My phone does not ring like it used to
chopsticks are cool and way better than a fork
smokers really do stink.... never noticed before but now I sure do
Prime rib is my favorite steak
I like walking in new shoes

Anyhoo I will be back here as much as I can as things start to mellow
Ps- I'm now a certified TEFL Teacher I passed my course!

Present Continuous

Not dead, just busy!
regular programming should resume in march...
not that I have a following on here, but for those that care....
I should be back at work by march :(
For the record I need a job where I can work from home.
I am liking this "home stuff" a little too much!
Now that I am mobile I seem to get alot done!
speaking of getting er done .... I gotta run

The County Fair In Pickle Lake

I will say that, I have not been here in awhile
I will also say sorry about that!
Would you believe me if I told you:
I am one busy kid for a guy that's recovering from surgery.
I'm still doin the course which will remain nameless, till I pass.
I had a bank error not in my favor, so I'm dealing with that
(that could be another post altogether)
Juggling Dr's appointments is also something I became good at.

A couple of random thoughts :

-Why is butter with salt cheaper than butter with out?
Are tires cheaper with air than without? No So WTF?

-People have told me English is the most messed up language in the world.
Exceptions to every rule and different spellings of the same word
I have come to the conclusion that it was invented right here in TBay!

-The Steelers got lucky in last nights Superbowl!

- I been having weird dreams that, I actually remember!

-I had fun in a bookstore for the first time in my life the other day
but don't tell Ms D that!

- There is a "for dummies" book on everything you can think of.

- I lost the bet on the groundhog seeing his shadow today
I bet he wouldn't and he did.

-There is actually a website called "101 uses for garlic"

-I enjoyed writing this but I gotta run....Cheers!

Dr is outta town on the day I am supposed to see him
I found this out yesterday by accident

Speaking of accidents
Did you know
There is a self serve collision report center
right next to the criminal record check office
in our local police station
The hours (to get a criminal record check) are 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday
Hello dream job !!

Anyway back to the Dr problem
I discovered my surgeons office
does not even answer the phones on Fridays
because after two hours of trying, I went there
The hospital where my appointment with the surgeon was supposed to be
does answer the phone but only 7am- 3:30pm
but it don't matter ....they can't get ahold of anyone at the surgeons office
So I get an appointment that does not exist and it can't be fixed cause
Nobody answers the freakin phones
see why I'm getting pissed here....
I'm glad I don't have to pay for health care outta pocket
now we wait til Monday

In other news
This morning I signed up for a 60hr online course
to occupy my time at home
I will tell you all about it when I pass!

I'm doin some chalet skiing this weekend
This is where I sit at the bar and drink pop
eat chicken wings and Ms Doodle gets to go skiing
I don't mind and She says I'm a good sport

But I wish I could just get some kinda answer that fits,

I have a few things on the go since I been layed up at home

the best answer I got so far " in September"

Unless I come up with 10k by Friday

witch last time I checked is freakin tomorrow !

Not trying for the poor me approach here or anything

but like I said it's frustrating

Ms D says I should try to improve myself somehow

in my time at home ......I think she is right, it is a very good idea

I have the time

I have a laptop

I have the ability to upgrade or educate myself

except I'm home now
